Remote Deposit Capture or Mobile Check Deposit?

With two great options for depositing checks – Remote Deposit Capture and Mobile Check Deposit – long gone are the days when a business owner needs to go out of their way to deposit a check. What, you may be wondering, is the difference?

With Remote Deposit Capture, you use a dedicated desktop scanner provided by the Bank to scan and transmit checks directly to your accounts at Jewett City Savings Bank. Remote Deposit Capture is a great option for customers who regularly deposit multiple checks, but don’t need the flexibility of a mobile solution.

Business owners who only deposit a few checks each month, or are regularly on the road, likely will prefer Mobile Check Deposit. Using our Mobile Banking app customers take a picture of each side of their check which is then submitted for deposit.
