Many of the people who work at Jewett City Savings Bank have been with us for the entirety, or a good majority of their careers. Our customers and the rest of our team benefit from the dedication and contributions of team members like Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, Sandra Boucher.
How she started
In 1984, Sandra (or Sandy) launched her career at Jewett City Savings Bank as a Teller at our Brooklyn office and after a year was promoted to Head Teller of the Central Village office. Five years later, she was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Brooklyn office before returning to Central Village in 1990, where she served as the Branch Manager for 20 years.
During that time, she also graduated from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management and received several First in Class awards in courses offered by the American Institute of Banking.
How it’s going
In 2010, Sandy joined the Bank’s executive management team as Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, applying her years of experience in our branches to benefit all our customers from Putnam to Pawcatuck.
