Jewett City Savings Bank Promotes Four

Jewett City Savings Bank has announced the promotions of Diana Rose, Peter Cannon, Jane Watson, and Amanda Heibel.

Diana Rose, Senior Vice President, has been promoted to Chief Administrative Officer. She joined the Bank in 1984 and has held various management positions within the Bank. Diana is a graduate of the Connecticut Bankers Association (CBA) Connecticut School of Finance & Management and the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management. She has been a Director of the Quinebaug Valley Community College Foundation since 2016 and currently serves on its Executive Committee.

Peter Cannon has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Compliance Officer. Peter joined the Bank in 2011 with 10 years of experience in compliance and loan underwriting. He holds a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island. He is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).

Jane Watson has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Assistant Controller. Jane joined the Bank in 1991 and most recently held the position of Assistant Vice President, Accounting Manager. She holds an Associate of Science degree in secretarial and an Associate of Science degree in office administration and information processing from Quinebaug Valley Community College. She is also a graduate of the CBA Connecticut School of Finance & Management.

Amanda Heibel, Branch Manager and Training Officer at the Main Office has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Amanda joined the Bank in 2008 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility since then. Amanda holds many certificates and diplomas in financial services from the Center for Financial Training, and is also an active member of the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.
