At Jewett City Savings Bank’s 152nd Annual Meeting of Corporators, President & CEO, Michael Alberts discussed the Bank’s strong financial performance, which included net income ahead of projections at $3.97 million. He also outlined the Bank’s successful transition as a commercial community bank that provides loans to meet the needs of a wide range of local businesses. The Bank’s dedication to business was why the Hartford Business Journal recognized Jewett City Savings Bank as one of the fastest growing commercial lenders in Connecticut.
During the meeting, Daniel Barrett of Lisbon was elected as a corporator of Jewett City Savings Bank. Mr. Barrett is a property owner and manager, who has strong knowledge of the housing industry and Fair Housing practices. He is a graduate of Campbell University-Buise Creek in North Carolina and volunteers his time coaching youth sports.
“We’re proud to welcome Daniel and to celebrate our success in 2024, which would not be possible without the dedication of our employees, the trust of our valued customers, and the support of our communities,” shared Alberts.
