The Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation has announced the opening of its 2025 grant applications. The grants are available to local 501(c)(3) and 170(c)(1) non-profit organizations, as well as other qualified non-profits, in the communities served by Jewett City Savings Bank.
“Our local non-profits make up the backbone of our community, allowing individuals to access resources they need to thrive. It is a privilege to support these organizations and help them continue to carry out their missions of providing resources to our neighbors,” said Michael Alberts, President of the Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation.
The grant application and guidelines are available on JCSBank.com. All completed applications must be submitted by August 31, 2025. The maximum request amount is $5,000. Funding for approved projects will be awarded by December 31, 2025, and applicants will be notified by mail.
Since its founding in 2004, the Foundation has donated over $1.3 million to community initiatives. In 2024 alone, the Foundation awarded 83 grants totaling $116,408 to support a wide range of local programs and services.
