QuickBooks® FAQs

Jewett City Savings Bank supports Web Connect and Direct Connect to assist you in updating your account data using your QuickBooks software from Intuit, Inc.

QuickBooks Web Connect

The Web Connect service is an on-demand update for your QuickBooks software that is completed by you at your convenience from within Online Banking. Simply sign in to Online Banking and use the Web Connect Download feature to export transactions directly from your account history and import them into your QuickBooks software. There are no fees for using the Web Connect service.

QuickBooks Direct Connect

The Direct Connect service allows QuickBooks to communicate directly with Online Banking. You will have to share your Online Banking User ID and Password with your QuickBooks software. You must register through Online Banking to establish the Direct Connect service. Accounts enrolled in the Direct Connect service will be charged a service fee. Current fees are provided on the QuickBooks registration page in Online Banking.

Security Information

If you suspect there may be fraudulent activity on your account, you must notify the bank immediately.

To report a lost, stolen or compromised debit card, contact the bank as soon as you become aware that your card is missing or has been compromised. You may contact any branch office during business hours or call HOT CARD Lost & Stolen Services at 1-833-337-6075 after business hours.

Quicken Web Connect

Current fees are provided on the Quicken registration page in Online Banking.

Please be aware that when utilizing the Direct Connect service, you are sharing your Online Banking credentials. For security purposes, we do not recommend sharing your Online Banking credentials with any third-party relationship. We believe the most secure option for updating your account history in your Quicken software is by utilizing the free Web Connect service.
