- 1873 – June 23 – Founded as Jewett City Savings Bank
- 1873 – December 31 – $41 Thousand in Assets
- 1873 – Ulysses S. Grant was president
- 1873 – Panic of 1873
- 1875 – American Bankers Association (ABA) Founded
- 1883 – $535 thousand in assets
- 1884 – Slater Library founded
- 1886 – Ashland Mill Bridge built
- 1890 – Moved in new building at 28 Main Street
- 1893 – $820 thousand in assets
- 1895 – Jewett City incorporated as a borough of the town of Griswold
- 1900 – James O. Sweet named President
- 1903 – $1 million in assets
- 1907 – Panic of 1907
- 1913 – $1.3 million in assets
- 1913 – The Federal Reserve System established
- 1914 – Rev. Edward N. Anthony named President
- 1923 – Arthur M. Brown named President
- 1923 – $2.2 million in assets
- 1929 – Stock market crash
- 1930 – August 25th grand opening of 111 Main Street
- 1930s – The Great Depression
- 1933 – $2.7 million in assets
- 1933 – Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) founded

- 1969 – First ATM debuts in New York
- 1971 – Quinebaug Valley Community College founded
- 1972 – Plainfield branch opened April 27th
- 1973 – Main Office Remodeled for 100th Anniversary
- 1973 – $24 million in assets
- 1974 – Brooklyn branch opened July 30th
- 1983 – $66.9 million in assets
- 1993 – $117.2 million in assets
- 1994 – First financial institution in North America offers Internet Banking
- 1996 – Acquired Jewett City Trust Company
- 1999 – First website launched
- 2000 – Online Banking introduced
- 2000 – Y2K
- 2001 – Addition to Main office building complete
- 2001 – 9/11 – 152 Connecticut citizens killed
- 2003 – $218.1 million in assets
- 2004 – Founded the JCSB Foundation
- 2007 – Kevin Merchant named President & CEO
- 2007 – Dayville branch opened May 7th
- 2008 – Preston branch opened November 17th
- 2019 – Pawcatuck branch opened September 19th
- 2020 – Putnam branch opened September 1st
- 2020 – COVID-19 Pandemic forces closing of all banks and businesses.
