For the sixth consecutive year, Jewett City Savings Bank has been named the “Best Community Bank” in Connecticut, by readers of The Commercial Record. In addition, they also captured the Bronze Award for commercial lending in the annual reader survey that measures the loyalty and satisfaction readers have with providers of services in the financial and real estate industries.
The highest-ranked winners in each service category surveyed are considered to be a perfect example for others in their field in terms of performance and service.
2019 was a year of recognitions for the Bank, which received the Community Bank Hero award from American Business Media and the publisher of Banking New England, and more recently was selected as the Best Bank in Windham County by readers of The Bulletin.
“Awards like these are a validation of our vision for community banking – focusing on delivering honest financial services and exceptional customer service – and the hard work of each member of our team to meet the needs of not just our customers, but of the community at large,” said Kevin Merchant, president and CEO of Jewett City Savings Bank
