New Dayville management team at Jewett City Savings Bank
Kevin C. Merchant, president and CEO of Jewett City Savings Bank, has announced a new management team now in place at the Bank’s Dayville branch.
Melissa Deslauriers, formerly assistant branch manager at the Bank’s Main Office in Jewett City, has been promoted to branch manager in Dayville. Rhonda Pearson was promoted from her position as head teller and customer service representative at the Bank’s Preston branch to assistant branch manager in Dayville.
A Norwich resident, Deslauriers joined Jewett City Savings Bank in 2004 as a teller at the Central Village office. She subsequently moved to the Main Office as a customer service representative, and was promoted to assistant branch manager in 2009. She has earned numerous financial services certificates from the Center for Financial Training, and was ranked first in her residential mortgage lending class.
Pearson, a Plainfield resident, joined the Bank in 2006, as a teller at the Main Office. She transferred to the Bank’s Preston branch when that office opened in 2008, serving as head teller and customer service representative. She was a 2009 recipient of the Jewett City Savings Bank “Exceptional Service Award.”
